About the Job

As the Associate Director - Revenue for Acko Drive Content, you will be pivotal in managing revenue-related activities and driving partnerships for sponsored projects and events. Your responsibilities will include managing sponsorships, creating proposals and presentations, nurturing client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Managing Revenue Requirements: Oversee all revenue-related aspects for Acko Drive, ensuring profitability and growth.

  2. Sponsorships for IPs and Marquee Events: Secure sponsorships for flagship events such as Awards, EV shows, or tech conclaves.

  3. Sponsored Projects Acquisition: Identify and pursue new client opportunities for sponsored projects.

  4. Project Coordination: Collaborate with the editorial team to follow up on sponsored project discussions and requirements.

  5. Proposal and Presentation Creation: Develop compelling proposals and presentations for sponsorships and partnerships.

  6. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with OEMs and other clients, ensuring excellent client servicing.

  7. Partnerships Development: Forge partnerships with networks, media platforms, OTT services, and non-OEM partners like FMCG or airlines or hotels or lifestyle

brands for specific projects and content integration.

  1. Ad Sales and Inventory Management: Handle basic ad sales and inventory management for the site, if initiated.

  2. Financial Liaison: Coordinate with the internal finance team regarding revenue, invoicing, ROAS and financial matters.

  3. Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the internal marketing team to leverage promotions and synergies for revenue generation.

  4. Media Agency Relationships: Maintain relationships with media agencies, facilitating project coordination and payments.

  5. OEM and Client Relations: Build and sustain relationships with OEMs and other clients to foster long-term partnerships and business growth.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Outcomes:

  1. OEM Partnerships: Achieve a target number of OEM partnerships.

  2. Event Sponsorships: Secure sponsorships for awards with a strong revenue target.

  3. Sponsored Projects: Successfully close a minimum of one sponsored project per month.

  4. Marquee Events Revenue: Achieve strong annual revenue growth from marquee events and IPs.

  5. Closing Rate: Achieve a minimum 70% hit rate in closing discussions initiated by the editorial team for sponsored projects and partnerships

  6. Internal Collaboration: Establish strong links within ACKO HQ, particularly with the Finance and Marketing teams.

  7. Cross-Functional Synergies: Identify and leverage synergies with cross-functional projects and business vertical activities (IPL, Brand Ambassadors, Advertising Campaigns, Ground Events)

  8. Media Partnerships: Secure a minimum of two partnerships with media, OTT platforms, or networks annually, based on project scale and scope.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • Proven experience in revenue management, sponsorships, and partnerships in the media or automotive industry.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure to meet targets.

  • Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office Suite, and project management tools.
