Your Mission

As the Lead Data Scientist, you'll head a team of Business Analysts and be the cornerstone of our data-driven culture. You'll bridge data science with business strategy, working directly with leadership to drive initiatives, uncover patterns, and make data actionable.This role goes beyond data wrangling we're looking for a sharp, proactive leader who can think critically, communicate clearly, and drive forward insights that shape product and business growth.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead & mentor a growing team of business analysts to ensure quality, clarity, and strategic value in their output.

• Own the analytics function end-to-end — from data architecture to insights delivery (PostHog, Omni dashboards).

• Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities across product usage, customer behavior, and internal metrics.

• Collaborate with product, marketing, customer success, and engineering teams to drive better decisions using data.

• Build scalable processes for data collection, validation, and insight generation.

• Create and manage intuitive dashboards and reports, while always pushing beyond reporting to actual interpretation and strategy.

• Ensure data governance, privacy, and accuracy across all analytics initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years in analytics/data science roles, with at least 2 years leading a team.

• Strong proficiency in SQL; comfortable working directly with BigQuery datasets.

• Dashboarding tools. We use PostHog and Omni

• Excellent business acumen — able to translate business questions into analytical problems and back into actionable insights.

• Strong communication skills — both with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• A bias for action, curiosity, and ownership.
