At Aftershoot, we’re building more than just AI tools; we’re building a global community of photographers who spend less time behind their screens and more time behind the lens. Every feature we create, every update we ship, is designed to make post-processing easier, faster, and smarter for photographers around the world. From culling to editing to retouching. Our AI tools do all the heavy lifting, so photographers can focus on what they do best: capturing moments, telling stories, and creating magic.
We’re a fast-growing, passionate team backed by over 30,000+ photographers and $10 M+ in ARR.
But we’re just getting started. Our mission is clear: solve the biggest pain points in photography, and keep evolving with photographers who use our tools daily.
If you care deeply about building meaningful products, working with curious and driven teammates, and being part of a team that genuinely loves what they do, we’d love to meet you.
Let’s create the future of AI in photography, together.
We’re looking for a photographer who gets photographers - someone who’s spent time behind the lens and now wants to help others get the most out of AfterShoot.
As a Photographer (CS), you’ll be the bridge between creativity and technology, helping our users understand and love the product that makes their post-shoot life easier. You’ll chat with fellow photographers, troubleshoot creatively, and make sure every AfterShoot user feels like they’ve got a pro in their corner.
This is a contract role, perfect for a photographer who loves connecting with people and helping others get the best out of AfterShoot.
Be the friendly face and voice helping photographers understand Aftershoot better.
Guide users through onboarding, setup, and feature walkthroughs in your own fun, witty, photographer way.
Translate tech talk into photographer talk - making AI tools easy, not intimidating.
Share product feedback and insights from the community with the internal team.
Create content, quick tips, or short videos showing off product hacks and smart workflows.
Help troubleshoot issues photographers face — whether it’s syncing, culling, or just understanding how to make AfterShoot work their way.
Keep an eye on what’s happening in the photography world — tools, trends, workflows — and help us evolve with the community.
Be active in photographer groups, forums, or online events — sharing knowledge and bringing the AfterShoot vibe wherever photographers hang out.
3–4 years of professional photography experience (bonus if you’ve shot weddings or portraits!).
Strong communication and storytelling skills - you know how to connect with other photographers.
A natural teacher: patient, engaging, and maybe a little bit witty.
Tech-curious - you enjoy experimenting with tools that make your work smarter.
Comfortable with client communication over chat, email, or video.
You’ll be part of a team that’s changing how photographers work.
You’ll talk photography all day, but without the 12-hour shoot days.
A creative, informal, and genuinely fun work culture.
The freedom to experiment and bring your personality to customer conversations.
Competitive salary and benefits that support your health and well-being.
