🚀Your Mission
We’re seeking a Video Marketer to lead our YouTube growth. In this role, you'll drive our video strategy, work closely with photographers and content creators, and build a strong community on video platforms. Your work will be key to creating videos that engage, educate, and grow our audience.
🎯What You Will Be Doing
YouTube Growth Strategy: Lead the strategy to increase channel viewership and subscribers through relevant, engaging content tailored to photographers.
Video Content Creation: Develop compelling briefs, scripts, and hooks; produce educational and how-to videos that showcase Aftershoot’s value and features.
Community & Collaboration: Build relationships with creators and photographers for video collaborations and strengthen ties within the photography community.
Trend & Platform Optimization: Stay current on YouTube and industry trends; optimize videos for discovery through effective use of titles, tags, thumbnails, and formats.
Cross-Platform Repurposing: Collaborate with social and product marketing teams to repurpose YouTube content for TikTok, Instagram, and other channels.
Analytics & Content Planning: Track performance metrics, manage a content calendar, and refine strategies to ensure consistent publishing and marketing alignment.
💪What We’re Looking for
3-5 years in YouTube content strategy, video production, or a similar role.
Proven success in growing YouTube channels and building engaged audiences.
Strong knowledge of YouTube analytics, SEO, and growth strategies.
Skilled in creating effective video briefs and working with external creators.
Excellent scriptwriting and storytelling skills.
Proficiency with video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects.
Experience creating short-form content for Instagram or similar platforms.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
Photography industry knowledge and familiarity with post-processing workflows are a plus.
