Marketing Manager

Job type: Full Time · Department: Marketing · Work type: On-Site · USD 77500 - 85000 / year

Plano, Texas, United States

About Asher Med

Asher Med is building the platform that empowers frontline wellness businesses to deliver personalized, human care at scale.

We partner with wellness businesses to help them offer high-quality medical weight loss and health optimization services through technology, education, clinical infrastructure, and operational support.

Our mission is to bridge the gap between medical and wellness through responsible growth, operational excellence, and a better patient and partner experience.

We are looking for people who want to help build something high-accountability, fast-moving, and deeply impactful.

About the Role

The Marketing Manager owns traffic generation and webinar attendance, the two inputs that feed everything downstream. Asher Med runs a direct-response model: paid ads drive webinar registrations, qualified attendees book a call, and the closing team closes. This role exists to maximize volume and quality at the top of that funnel and protect conversion at every step through to a booked appointment.

You will build and operate the acquisition engine that drives attendance, creates qualified demand, and hands sales a pipeline they can close. Tight collaboration with the sales department is not optional. Marketing and sales operate as one unit, aligned on offer, angle, and outcome.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership

  • Own the weekly marketing operating rhythm: planning, priorities, output review, and performance reporting

  • Build systems and SOPs so the team executes consistently without requiring direction on every task

  • Proactively surface bottlenecks to the Director of Acquisition with solutions, not just problems

Paid Campaign Management

  • Own webinar registration page copy, thank-you page sequences, and confirmation messaging

  • Ensure every campaign launches with a complete downstream asset stack in place

  • Participate in weekly paid acquisition reviews and adjust campaign assets based on funnel performance

  • Coordinate creative asset briefs including ad copy, hooks, and VSL support

Email Campaigns

  • Build and manage all email sequences: pre-webinar, post-webinar, no-show follow-up, booked-call confirmation, nurture, and reactivation

  • Maintain a live email testing roadmap and own list health: segmentation, tagging, and suppression logic

  • Report on email performance and connect results back to funnel outcomes

Marketing Tech and CRM Oversight

  • Write clear automation briefs, QA every flow before launch, and maintain a live map of all active automations

  • Own list hygiene standards and manage the Marketing Tech Specialist with clear expectations and output reviews

In-Person Event Coordination

  • Own end-to-end coordination of all in-person events including venue logistics, vendor communication, and promotional asset production

  • Coordinate post-event nurture and conversion materials with the Sales Manager and track downstream conversion outcomes

Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Participate in weekly Acquisition Leaders and Creative Team meetings

  • Build pre-appointment nurture, no-show, and reactivation sequences in collaboration with the Sales Department

  • Produce sales enablement assets as needed and provide creative briefs to the Brand team

Required Qualifications

  • Proven hands-on experience running paid social (Meta) and Google Ads campaigns in a direct-response context, with ownership over funnel performance

  • Deep familiarity with VSL and webinar funnel structures

  • Hands-on proficiency with GoHighLevel (GHL) or equivalent CRM and marketing automation platform, including automation builds and sequencing ownership

  • Strong email copywriting ability and experience managing list segmentation, tagging, and hygiene

  • Ability to read funnel and email performance data, draw conclusions, and adjust strategy

  • Has managed at least one direct report and can operate as a leader from day one

  • Must be willing and able to work hybrid in Plano, TX (2 to 3 days in person). No exceptions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in health, wellness, or a regulated category with demonstrated discipline around compliant copy

  • Experience in a high-volume testing environment with creative, email, and landing page variants running simultaneously

  • Experience building or scaling a small marketing department

  • Experience coordinating in-person events and managing promotional material production

What We Are Looking For

Asher Med wants people who embody seven core principles: humility, empathy, relentlessness, trustworthiness, extreme ownership, reliability, and a growth mindset. These are not just buzzwords to us. They are foundational characteristics of every team member.

The ideal candidate is an operator. You build systems, not just campaigns. You bring solutions instead of just surfacing problems, own outcomes fully, and lead your team with clarity and care. You are organized under pressure, direct and coachable, and comfortable getting your hands dirty in a fast-moving startup environment.

What We Offer

  • Base salary of $70,000 to $80,000 depending on experience, with a target offer of $75,000

  • Performance-based bonus eligible at 90 days with OTE of $77,500 to $85,000

  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • Equity program giving you a stake in what we are building

  • A high-energy, in-person office environment built for people who thrive in a team setting

  • Clear paths for career growth and advancement as the company scales

  • The chance to sell something that actually changes lives, medical weight loss solutions that deliver real, measurable results for patients
