About the Role

The Billing Manager is the operational owner of all billing within Asher Med. This role ensures billing is accurate, consistent, and scalable while delivering a high-quality partner experience. You will manage billing operations end-to-end, resolve issues quickly, and build systems that allow billing to run cleanly without friction.

You will start by learning and executing billing workflows hands-on, then take full ownership of processes, and eventually build and lead a team of Billing Specialists. This is a high-trust execution and build role for someone who is detail-oriented, process-driven, and takes pride in clean operations.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Billing Ownership

• Own all partner billing processes from start to finish

• Manage subscriptions, invoices, payments, refunds, and adjustments

• Ensure billing accuracy across all partner accounts

• Resolve billing issues quickly and thoroughly

Daily Billing Workflows

• Subscription setup post-sale

• Failed payment management for subscriptions and medication invoices

• Pause and cancellation requests

• Refund processing and billing issue resolution

• CPOM and Provider Fee payment tracking and order status

• Patient invoicing and Referral/First Promoter setup

Process Ownership and Improvement

• Identify inefficiencies and recurring billing issues and drive improvements

• Update SOPs and documentation to reduce errors and manual work

• Build systems that allow billing to run smoothly without constant intervention

Partner Experience

• Respond to billing inquiries with clarity and professionalism

• Communicate billing details in a way partners understand and feel supported

Team Leadership (Growth Path)

• Assist in hiring, training, and managing Billing Specialists as the team grows

• Delegate daily billing tasks effectively and maintain consistency and accountability across the team

Required Qualifications

• 3 to 5 or more years in billing, accounts receivable, or financial operations

• Experience owning billing processes end-to-end, not just executing tasks

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with a process-driven, systems-oriented mindset

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to identify operational issues and drive solutions independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, wellness, or a similar industry

• Experience managing or mentoring a billing team

• Familiarity with subscription-based billing models and CRM platforms
