Autopilot Holdings Corporation has a job opening for an Android Engineer.
Design and build advanced application for the Android platform using Jetpack
Compose.
Define, design, and ship new features. Write clean, maintainable code while
ensuring application performance and scalability.
Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. Maintain code quality, organization, and automation. Discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and improve
application performance. In-person required.
Requirements:
Employer will accept a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in computer science, information systems, information technology, or a related field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a software development-related position.
Any amount of experience in the additional requirements below will be acceptable
unless a specific amount is noted. Academic background or work experience to include:
1) Jetpack compose;
2) Android architecture, including LiveData and ViewModel;
3) Kotlin, including coroutines for asynchronous programming, extension functions, and
DSL;
4) Performance optimization;
5) RESTful APIs;
6) Writing unit tests and UI tests using JUnit, Espresso, and Compose Test.
Salary: $135,000 to $198,000 per year.
