About Our Founders:

Bright was founded in 2019 by a founding team from McKinsey’s Banking Practice (Petko Plachkov and Avi Patchava) and InMobi Data Scientist (Avi Patchava, Varun Modi, Avinash Ramakath, Jayashree Merwade).

What you'll bring:-

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.

  • 4+ years’ experience in general or tax accounting

  • Experience with computerized ledger systems. (Tally and QuickBooks).Hands free experience in QuickBooks is mandatory.

  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills

  • Sound independent judgement

  • Possess the ability to collate information into the system and maintain it in the record books.

  • Excellent accounting and financial management knowledge and skills

  • Strong understanding of Accountings Practices & Processes Extensive

  • Experience using tools such as Tally, QuickBooks etc

  • Good communication skills and strong negotiation skills

  • Ability to prioritize, manage time well, stay organized, quickly address needs
    and adjust focus as needed.

  • Quick learner, with a positive attitude and ability to work well within a team

What You'll do:-

  • Review of day-to-day books of Accounts in Tally and QuickBooks & Supervise
    day to day routine, operational activities, and issues.

  • Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Statutory filing in India and US.
    Perform analytical reviews of financial documentation; produce statements for
    management on accounting status and discrepancies.

  • Conduct record reviews and assessments to determine resources and verify
    financial documentation Produce financial statement reports, document audit
    processes and balances Identify accounting issues, reconciled accounts, and
    provide solutions

  • Prepare monthly reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and intercompany
    transactions

  • Managing MIS and sharing details to Management on regular basis.
    Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary.
    Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
