About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer-3 (SDE-3) to join our team at Cashfree in a Salesforce development role. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce.com and its product suite, as well as hands-on experience with programming languages, architecture, and software development methodologies.

This role involves working closely with our sales and operations teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction. The SDE-3 will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of Salesforce projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing process improvements to enhance our customers' experience.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects, from building custom Salesforce applications to integrating new technologies and improving existing processes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with our sales and operations teams to design and develop scalable Salesforce solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

• Leading the development and implementation of Salesforce projects, including writing code, testing, and deploying solutions.

• Identifying areas for process improvements and implementing changes to enhance our customers' experience.

• Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new Salesforce applications and features.

• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to Salesforce and its product suite.

• Staying up-to-date with the latest Salesforce technologies, features, and best practices to ensure we are always delivering the best possible solutions to our customers.

• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to help them grow in their careers.

• Participating in code reviews and ensuring that all code meets our high standards of quality and maintainability.

• Communicating effectively with stakeholders, including sales, operations, and customers, to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have BE/B. Tech in Computer Science or a related field.

• Experience programming on the Salesforce platform is a must, with a deep understanding of the Salesforce.com product suite, including Sales Cloud, Platform, and the App Exchange. 6+ years of experience are required.

• Extensive development experience with Apex Classes, Triggers, Visual-force, Lightning, Batch Apex, SOQL, Salesforce APIs, and other programmatic solutions on the Salesforce platform is required.

• A firm understanding of advanced design patterns and engineering best practices is essential.

• Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum is required.

• Background in the development of enterprise systems as part of a complete software product life-cycle is required.

• An effective communicator that works well in a collaborative team setting is essential.

• Natural problem solver who enjoys identifying ways to improve our customers' overall experience is a must.

• Prior experience in SaaS or subscription-based companies is highly desirable.

• Good to have experience with Java/Golang.

• Enterprise systems development and software product life-cycle: Experience in developing and delivering comprehensive software solutions that meet the complex needs of our customers, including the planning, design, development, testing, and deployment phases.

• Effective communication and collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills enable the development team to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers to deliver successful project outcomes.
