Associate Director - Strategic Partnerships (Hunting)

About the role:

What You'll Do:

  • Build, manage, and grow strategic partnerships with top Indian and global brands to scale embedded payments.

  • Identify, prioritize, and source new partnership opportunities in a structured and process-driven manner.

  • Own revenue, supply, and strategic KPIs through active partner management and monetization initiatives.

  • Structure and negotiate win-win deals across industries like ERP platforms, marketplaces, SaaS players, and aggregators.

  • Influence product roadmaps by channeling feedback from partners and identifying scalable integration opportunities.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Analytics, Legal, and Operations teams to deliver seamless partner experiences.

  • Ensure high partner satisfaction and NPS through transparent communication, proactive support, and strategic alignment.

  • Guide internal teams with insights around category-specific trends, partner potential, and platform-led monetization opportunities.

What Makes You A Great Fit:

  • 8–12 years (with team handling) of experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances—ideally in fintech, SaaS, or embedded platforms.

  • Demonstrated success in working with and managing large accounts or ecosystem players at the C-level.

  • Strong negotiation skills and experience closing complex commercial or technical partnerships.

  • Deep understanding of digital payments, merchant acquiring, and the Indian fintech ecosystem.

  • Experience working with ERPs or platforms in sectors like education, travel, pharmacy, and hospitality is a strong advantage.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally, especially with Product and Engineering, to drive platform integrations and joint GTM strategies.

  • Comfortable working in a high-growth, ambiguous environment with a bias toward execution.

  • Strong analytical skills—ability to size markets, define partner value, and track performance metrics.

  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and organizational skills.

Good to Have:

  • Prior experience in platform GTM, embedded finance, or aggregator-led merchant onboarding.

  • Familiarity with partner-led acquisition strategies or distribution via SaaS/ERP ecosystems.

  • Exposure to global markets and enterprise-level partnerships.
