Skills & Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s degree is preferred)

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in finance/accounting roles, with at least 3-4 years in a supervisory capacity

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements

  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Zoho Books and Tally)

  • Proficiency in MS Excel with advanced skills in data analysis and visualization

  • Experience with Tableau reporting is an added advantage

  • Excellent reporting, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Strong communication and leadership abilities

  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines

  • Self-driven and proactive in nature with a passion for continuous learning and improvement

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes to inform strategic decision-making and drive business growth

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate processing

  • Ensure compliance with statutory laws, tax regulations, and internal policies to minimize risk and maintain a high degree of transparency

  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and optimize resource allocation

  • Assist with audits (internal and external) by preparing required documentation and liaising with auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient process

  • Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce risk

  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and decision-making, leveraging expertise in financial analysis and reporting

  • Supervise junior finance staff and support their training and development to ensure a high level of competence and productivity

  • Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and cost management, fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication
