The Supply Chain Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of end-to-end supply chain activities at Digantara Research & Technologies. This role will be responsible for understanding team requirements and translating those into job descriptions, managing supply chain activities, and collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and monitor performance.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical and organizational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a passion for the space domain. Skills & Qualification

• Bachelor's degree with up to 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory, and procurement.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a diverse and dynamic team.

• Strong analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in supply chain software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.

• Ability to demonstrate a passion for the space domain, applying supply chain expertise to meet the industry's unique needs.

• Strong writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver technical documents and briefings.

• Ability to travel occasionally, as necessary.

• General knowledge of supply chain trends and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Understand team requirements and translate those into job descriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Assist in managing end-to-end supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory, production, and logistics.

• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and monitor performance, fostering strong relationships and driving continuous improvement.

• Prepare reports and presentations on supply chain performance and trends, using data to inform strategic decisions and drive process optimization.

• Support process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance supply chain efficiency.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfilment, coordinating logistics and supply chain activities to meet customer needs.

• Provide administrative support, including maintaining documentation and organising files, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Build and maintain day-to-day relationships with vendors, ensuring timely delivery and monitoring vendor performance to meet contractual agreements.

• Manage vendor performance, ensuring alignment with service levels, quality standards, and contractual agreements.

• Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure smooth and timely movement of goods and materials, using data to inform strategic decisions.

• Conduct audits of purchases and inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance supply chain efficiency.

• Drive strategic supply chain improvements, focusing on process optimisation, cost reduction, and efficiency, using data to inform strategic decisions.
