AVP - Government Sales

This holistic approach empowers Digantara to monitor all Resident Space Objects(RSOs) in orbit, fostering comprehensive domain awareness.

Digantara is seeking an AVP of Government Procurement to liaise with government agencies to develop and implement a sales strategy.

Ideal candidate

  • Someone who specializes in creating and executing a successful sales strategy by utilizing their expertise in govt procurement and technology development procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 10 years experience in a field relating to govt procedures and procurement

  • Proficiency in DAP and other govt procurement procedures

  • Extensive knowledge of technology development instruments of Indian forces and Indian government agencies

  • Understand how to navigate “single vendor” situations in procurement

  • Has a technical or flying background

Preferred Skills

  • Has an extensive network within the government ecosystem

  • Demonstrated experience in Indian government sales

Responsibilities 

  • Accelerate the “first conversation to purchase order” journey by employing extensive knowledge of govt procedures throughout the sales life cycle.

  • Be hands-on and street-smart in figuring out the bottlenecks in the sales lifecycle and resolving them.

  • Create strategies and implement them for the following:

    • Financing technology development of new products

    • Selling already developed products

    • Marketing and creating brand identity in government circles

  • Continuously liaison with govt customers to introduce our products to them, provide them with regular product updates, and understand the shortcomings in product strategy

  • Attend events and meetings representing the company

  • Contribute towards writing proposals and making presentations
