We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) intern to join our team to ensure product quality.

The responsibilities of a QA intern include designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. Additionally, you will review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure the software runs smoothly and meets client needs cost-effectively. If you have an engineering background and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.

Ideal Candidate:

  • We are looking for a proficient QA intern who has basic proficiency in API and has a good knowledge of software testing methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute test cases(manual) and report software defects

  • Collaborate with the development team to understand features and functionalities

  • Document and maintain test cases and test scripts

  • Ensure that developed products meet design specifications and are within specified quality limits

  • Conduct Regression testing, Smoke testing, and verify bug fixes

  • Communicate effectively with team members to clarify requirements and resolve issues

Required Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and practices

  • Basic proficiency in Python

  • Basic understanding of API testing using Postman

  • Basic SQL knowledge

  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to document processes

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

Good to Have:

  • Knowledge of DSA (Data Structure Algorithms)

  • Proficiency in Git

  • Basic understanding of performance testing

  • Familiarity with different operating systems and browsers

  • Knowledge of Selenium or any other UI automation tools

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel/ Google Sheets

  • Certificates related to QA or any specialized tools
