Motion is growing fast (3x YoY), our product is sticky and we recently raised $30M in Series B funding. We doubled our customers as well as our headcount in 2024, and have just over 50 team members.

We’ve built a new category of software to bridge the gap between performance marketers and creative teams. Our platform combines creative analytics, research, and strategy. Motion is the command center for Creative Strategists.
Our customers are top ecom and DTC brands like Vuori, True Classic, The Farmer’s Dog, HexClad, and thousands more. They’ve used Motion to analyze over $13B in media spend.
We are looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager with expertise in prompt engineering and a strong product mindset to lead our Internal Services Pod. Reporting to the Head of Product, this pivotal role will define the new data integrations and AI-driven service at Motion. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers across pods to determine the most impactful integrations to unlock user value.
This role is hands-on, requiring a balance of product vision, technical know-how, and empathy for the user experience. You’ll be instrumental in developing new LLM-driven workflows that structure and optimize data for Motion’s client-facing applications.
Define Product Vision: Partner with the Head of Product to identify opportunities for new data integrations and AI-driven services that align with Motion’s strategy.
Develop LLM Flows: Combine industry best practices with innovative thinking to design and refine prompt chains and LLM solutions for data structuring.
Collaborate Across Pods: Work with other PMs to align on integration priorities, ensuring seamless user experiences across products.
Lead Execution: Draft product briefs, oversee development cycles, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality features in collaboration with Engineering and Design.
Drive Research: Engage directly with customers, conduct competitive analyses, and stay ahead of advancements in AI and LLM technologies.
Communicate Effectively: Present technical solutions in accessible terms to stakeholders while ensuring clear communication across teams.
Advocate for Excellence: Uphold high standards, champion user empathy, and act as a role model for cross-functional collaboration.
Product Experience: 5+ years in technical product management, with a focus on data integrations, AI/LLM solutions, prompt engineering, or similar fields.
Technical Acumen: Understanding of complex systems, services, internal data, API integrations, and infrastructure
AI Experience: Deep understanding of LLM technologies, APIs, and prompt design for complex workflows.
Hands-On Mindset: Comfort working in ambiguity and iterating on early-stage solutions.
Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to work with engineering, design, and stakeholders to align goals and drive execution.
Empathy & Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to connect with both technical teams and end users.
Data-Driven Approach: Strong analytical skills to evaluate trade-offs and make informed decisions.
Bonus: Experience in creative strategy, performance marketing, or adjacent industries that align with Motion’s user base
