Motion is the command center for creative strategists.
With Motion, creative strategists get help at every step of their workflow including visual analysis of top-performing ads, competitor tracking, research tools, and automated recommendations to help prioritize what to ship next.
Motion’s customers include some of the most prominent advertisers in paid social. Brands like HexClad, Vuori, True Classic, Jones Road Beauty, and Ridge use Motion to analyze over $6B in media spend every year.
You're a Creative Strategist.
You've always been interested in both sides of marketing. The art and the science. Maybe you started as a media buyer but always had a creative side. Or, you began in design but felt like you wanted to connect your art better to results.
Either way, you thrive on creating thumb-stopping creative that looks incredible and gets results.
And we're looking for someone like you to help us win on paid social.
Own the end-to-end creative strategy flywheel process turning research, competitor intel, creative instinct, and performance data into new top-performing ads
Execute a mix of iterations (quick ad wins) and big swings (longer, more complex ad ideas) to scale ad spend
Study and immerse yourself in social media trends using them to inspire fresh creative ideas
Make ads! This includes filming ads yourself and working with our internal team, agencies, and influencers
Brainstorm ad angles, hooks, and concepts that get attention
Collaborate with designers, writers, and media buyers to turn napkin ideas into high-performing campaigns
Monitor ad performance, analyze data, and continuously optimize campaigns for maximum impact
Work with cross-functional teams, including performance marketing and product teams, to ensure alignment on creative direction and performance metrics
3-4 years of extensive media buying experience, particularly with Facebook (e.g. Growth Marketing, Creative Strategist, Media Buyer, Performance marketing etc.)
Understanding the importance of creative in the paid media landscape
Strong understanding of ad performance metrics and how to translate data into actionable creative insights
Experience with platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and other digital marketing channels
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; you know how to inspire and guide creative teams to meet business goals.
A passion for creativity and a knack for combining data with storytelling to craft engage
Motion has thrived in 2023, and 2024 has been a defining year here. We are finishing the year with fresh Series B funding and exceptional traction.
On top of this, our founding team has built successful companies before. This role offers an incredible opportunity to get in on the ground floor (we are only about 50 people right now) to help us build a category-defining company in the “creative-tech” space.
