Customer Marketing Manager

About Motion:

Motion is growing fast (3x YoY), our product is sticky and we recently raised $30M in Series B funding. We've doubled our headcount this year and have just under 50 team members.

But we’re just getting started and we need your help!

We’ve built a new category of software to bridge the gap between performance marketers and creative teams. Our platform combines creative analytics, research, and strategy.  Motion is the command center for Creative Strategists.

Our customers are top ecom and DTC brands like Vuori, True Classic, The Farmer’s Dog, HexClad, and thousands more. They’ve used Motion to analyze over $6B in media spend.

Your job will be critical in making sure clients find success with these new features and bridge the gap between their creative and performance teams. 

About the role:

Working with top DTC brands and agencies, our customers are at the cutting edge and love to learn. This role will make sure our customers get the education they crave by sharing new product updates, insight into strategies from our CS team, key learnings from our events, thought leadership from our world class content team and much more!

How you'll make a difference:

You will be the connective tissue between marketing and customer success driving increased usage and adoption for key customer segments. In this role you’ll own:

  • Post-sale customer journey. From onboarding to enablement, you’ll craft strategies to complement our current CS programs to expand usage and delight our customers. 

  • Customer product launches. Our product team is always cooking up something new! You’ll work with CSMs to find impactful positioning on how to use these features and get the word out to drive adoption.

Knowledge base. Work with our platform experts to make sure customers can find the answers they need when they need them.

Who you are:

- You live in North America

- Resourceful, self-starter that is endlessly curious and excited to learn and teach. 

- 2-3 years of retention marketing experience across email and in-app. 

- Organized and effective cross-funcational partner.

- Excited to build a program from 0 to 1.

Bonus: 

- Copywriting experience

- Understanding of the importance of creative in the paid media landscape

Motion has thrived in 2023, and 2024 has been a defining year here. We are finishing the year with fresh funding and exceptional signals from our clients. On top of this, our founding team has built successful companies before. This role offers an incredible opportunity to get in on the ground floor (we are only about 50 people right now) to help us build a category defining company in the “creative-tech” space.
