Senior Implementation Specialist (GIS)

As Neara's Senior Implementation Specialist, you will join our Delivery team, which is passionate about helping our clients efficiently use and gain the most relevant insights from the Neara platform. Your will collaborate closely with the entire delivery team as well as interact with our Australia and US teams (product, sales and development teams). We are very transparent and the communication lines are open regardless of role or level, allowing us to get things done quickly, keeping in mind quality standards at all times.
Once you become an expert on the Neara platform you will get heavily involved in key projects that will drive actionable insights for our clients. You can expect a strong collaboration with the Head of Delivery to ensure project quality and ontime delivery. You will also have the opportunity to improve and automate our processes along the way and to provide mentoring/ training to Implementation Specialists and System Analysts.

Some of the things you will contribute to (not all at once):
Configuring projects, and ensuring the integration of our system for utility/geospatial clients
Build reports and dashboards for effective data analytics and tracking, and ensure Neara’s system is adapted to client’s requirements.
Conceiving efficient workflows for delivery projects with a focus on automation, ensuring efficient handling of large datasets
Identify and prioritize improvements that would enhance the project’s speed by partnering with engineering and product teams.
Detect inaccuracies in the digital twin and reconfigure the automodelling and dependencies to GIS, LiDAR or other non-spatial databases available to enhance reliability in the related reports.
Analyze client requests or issues (specific to delivery/presales projects) and identify new innovative opportunities for that implementation project.
Provide mentorship and training to Implementation Specialists and System Analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill refinement.
You will need to have:
A degree qualification
Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English
Experience having worked with a cloud-based software solution
Experience in GIS/CAD geoprocessing and/or LiDAR
Proven coding experience in any language, with demonstrated ability to:
Solve scalable problems
Successfully implement solutions in professional settings

Proven experience of system implementations, integrations, technical project delivery
Interest in spatial reasoning and working with 2D / 3D data, essential for our advanced spatial functions
Proven interest in Mathematics / Statistics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Geographical Information Systems or a related field
