As a Finance Accounting Intern at Paperid, you will support the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions. This role requires a strong understanding of financial administration and a willingness to learn and grow with our team.
As a Finance Accounting Intern, you will be responsible for learning and assisting with all financial administrative tasks, including payments and receipts, journal entries, and financial transaction journaling to our Oracle ERP system. You will also support the team in reconciling bank transactions and handling petty cash.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Basic understanding of financial administration, including all payments and receipts
Familiarity with journal entries and financial transaction journaling
Basic knowledge of Oracle ERP system
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn and grow
Ability to work collaboratively, accurately, and efficiently
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, with the ability to learn new tools and technologies
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
Basic knowledge of financial policies and procedures, with a willingness to learn and contribute to their development
Assist with all financial administrative tasks, including payments and receipts, journal entries, and financial transaction journaling to the Oracle ERP system
Support the team in reconciling bank transactions to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Assist with petty cash and ensure accurate record-keeping
Learn and assist with journal entries and financial transaction journaling
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless financial operations
Identify and report financial discrepancies and errors to the team
Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
Participate in ongoing training and development to improve financial skills and knowledge
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy
Perform other duties as assigned by the team, with a focus on flexibility and adaptability
