Paper.id is seeking an experienced Finance Operations Manager to oversee daily operational activities, develop and implement financial operations policies, and ensure high performance and compliance. This key role will collaborate with product management teams, lead cross-functional teams, and manage relationships with financial institutions to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills & Qualification

• 5+ years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or a similar role with a proven track record of driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.

• At least 3 years of experience in finance operations work with a deep understanding of financial regulations, reporting standards, and tax laws.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with a strong foundation in financial principles and practices.

• Working experience in the IT/SaaS industry is an added advantage with a strong understanding of technology solutions and automation processes.

• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and tax laws with the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent organizational and negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with financial institutions and key partners.

• Fluency in English is a plus with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational activities to ensure high performance and compliance, including monitoring and managing transactional processes for accuracy and efficiency.

• Develop and implement financial operations policies and procedures to streamline processes and improve efficiency, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Prepare and present operational performance reports to the VP of Finance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

• Collaborate with product management teams to support product launches and enhancements, ensuring seamless operational integration.

• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

• Manage relationships with financial institutions and key partners, including banks and payment gateways, to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.

• Analyze operational metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.

• Support the implementation of new technology solutions and automation processes, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations.

• Coordinate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, maintaining a strong control environment.

• Participate in strategic planning to align operational capabilities with business goals, ensuring the organization remains competitive and agile.

• Conduct root cause analysis of operational disruptions, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence and minimize business impact.

• Ensure data integrity and security in all operational activities, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all financial transactions.
