Senior Procurement Manager

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Manager with strong logistics procurement experience to take a leading role in sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiations. In this position, you will ensure cost efficiency and high-quality standards across our operations, while building sustainable supplier partnerships. This role is pivotal in driving cost optimization, enhancing processes, and strengthening our supply chain to support the company’s growth and scalability

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics, with at least 5 years in a leadership/managerial role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus)

  • Proven track record in strategic sourcing, managing domestic vendor management, and contract negotiation within the logistics and transportation sector.

  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, analytical skill with a results-oriented mindset

  • Able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and achieve set targets

  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and hands on execution procurement skills

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management across different levels of the organization.

  • Experience in maintaining and utilizing a comprehensive vendor database for price and service comparison

  • Familiarity with logistics and e-commerce industry would be beneficial

  • High level of integrity, compliance, and ethical standards in procurement practices.

  • Willingness to travel (as needed)

  • Fluency in English (verbal and written); other languages are a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier & Contract Management

  • Oversee end-to-end procurement activities across Paxel Group, ensuring timely sourcing, cost efficiency, and quality standards.

  • Negotiate and manage contracts, pricing, and service levels to achieve at least 10% cost reduction without compromising quality.

  • Monitor supplier performance, track KPIs (quality, delivery, cost, compliance), and implement corrective actions for underperforming vendors.

  • Maintain supply chain resilience by developing backup suppliers and contingency plans.

Strategic Leadership, Collaboration, Planning, Contracting & Negotiation

  • Drive category management, cost optimization, and value creation initiatives.

  • Work with VP Finance and Finance Controller to align procurement with financial planning and governance.

  • Partner with Operations, Logistics, and Technology teams to translate business needs into sourcing strategies.

  • Act as the key point of contact for procurement-related issues, resolving conflicts effectively.

  • Manage and coach the procurement team to strengthen capability and performance.

  • Provide feedback, training, and career development support for the procurement team member

Digitalization & Process Efficiency

  • Lead procurement digitalization (e-sourcing, automation, vendor portals).

  • Standardize workflows and leverage automation to improve operational efficiency.

Data Spend Analysis & Reporting

  • Conduct regular spend analysis to identify trends, map opportunities, and support category strategies.

  • Provide accurate procurement reports and savings dashboards for management review.

Policy, Process & Compliance

  • Establish, standardize, and continuously improve procurement policies, SOPs, and procedures.

  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal SOPs and external regulations.

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee procurement governance and compliance audits

  • Ensure all procurement decisions are transparent, auditable, and aligned with company policies.
