As a Facilities Technician (Line-Side Support), you’ll play a critical role in keeping production operations running. You’ll handle day-to-day facilities and equipment maintenance, support manufacturing line uptime, and respond quickly to production needs. You’ll work closely with production engineers, technicians, and operations staff to ensure our equipment and facility infrastructure are safe, reliable, and optimized for throughput.
Provide line-side support for production—respond quickly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot facility or equipment issues.
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment, utilities, and building systems (e.g., compressed air, HVAC, power, lighting, plumbing).
Support equipment moves, installations, and layout changes as production scales.
Maintain facility systems, including tooling, lifts, cranes, and safety infrastructure.
Ensure EHS compliance and support safety audits and inspections.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
Track maintenance activities, spare parts, and work orders using CMMS or internal tools.
Assist in vendor coordination for contracted services (electrical, HVAC, etc.).
Qualifications
3–5+ years experience as a Facilities or Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Experience with industrial systems such as compressed air, cooling water, HVAC, or automation support equipment.
Familiarity with hand and power tools, lockout/tagout, and general maintenance practices.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on startup environment.
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Flexibility for off-hours or weekend support as needed.
Nice-to-Have
Experience supporting large equipment or capital machinery assembly lines.
Knowledge of CMMS systems or digital maintenance tracking.
Familiarity with EHS programs or OSHA 1910 standards.
Experience with mechanical, electrical, or HVAC certifications (EPA, electrical apprentice, etc.).
