Are you a seasoned leader in the construction industry with a deep expertise in wet utilities? We are looking for a dedicated Underground Wet Utilities Foreman to oversee our team and ensure the successful, safe, and high-quality delivery of our utility projects.

Core Responsibilities

As the Foreman, you will be the backbone of our field operations, managing everything from project planning to crew leadership.

  • Team Leadership: Provide direction to the wet utilities crew, assign tasks, and foster a collaborative, high-performance environment.

  • Project Oversight: Manage project lifecycles including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management for water, sewer, and storm drainage systems.

  • Safety First: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA standards and company safety protocols to ensure everyone goes home safe.

  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions to maintain top-tier workmanship.

  • Logistics & Documentation: Manage equipment maintenance, procurement, and maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation.

  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify project bottlenecks and develop solutions to minimize disruptions.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in underground wet utilities construction, with at least 5 years in a supervisory/leadership role.

  • Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of water, sewer, and storm drainage systems; proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines and budgets.

  • Compliance: Deep understanding of construction best practices and safety regulations (OSHA).

  • Credentials: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Certifications in Construction or Safety Management are a plus.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform manual labor.

  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

  • Capacity to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.

  • Ability to work in environments with moderate to loud noise levels.
