About French Florist

French Florist is a leading luxury floral brand focused on providing premium floral arrangements while expanding its presence across the US. As we scale our operations through a franchise model and direct-to-consumer e-commerce, we are investing in a world-class marketing team to drive organic growth, brand authority, and customer acquisition.

We are seeking an SEO Manager who can own and execute a holistic SEO strategy—integrating technical SEO, on-page optimization, content strategy, link-building, and conversion optimization—to replace or complement our current agency-driven SEO model and significantly increase our organic search performance.

Role Overview

As an SEO Manager, you will lead our organic growth strategy, implementing cutting-edge SEO practices to improve search visibility, drive traffic, and maximize conversions. You will work cross-functionally with content, design, development, and marketing teams to ensure best-in-class SEO execution.

This role is ideal for a highly strategic, hands-on SEO leader who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and understands how to scale SEO for a high-growth brand.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Execution

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy to drive significant and sustainable organic growth.

  • Own technical SEO, on-page SEO, content SEO, and off-page SEO (link-building) to improve search rankings.

  • Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitive analysis, and SERP landscape assessments to identify high-impact opportunities.

  • Define SEO KPIs, benchmarks, and reporting processes to track organic performance and continuously optimize efforts.

  • Build a content strategy optimized for search intent, leveraging AI-driven insights, entity-based SEO, and structured data implementation.

Technical SEO & Optimization

  • Conduct and manage site audits to improve indexing, crawl efficiency, and overall site health.

  • Optimize site structure, URL taxonomy, internal linking, and schema markup for search engine visibility.

  • Improve page speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile usability to enhance SEO performance and UX.

  • Ensure website responsiveness across all devices for a seamless and engaging user experience.

  • Collaborate with developers to implement SEO-friendly code, structured data, and technical fixes.

User Experience (UX) & Information Architecture

  • Optimize navigation structure and user flow to improve conversion rates and reduce bounce rates.

  • Develop and refine sitemaps, wireframes, and content hierarchies to create intuitive website experiences.

  • Leverage data-driven insights to map user journeys and optimize landing pages for search visibility and engagement.

Content Optimization & Link-Building

  • Work closely with content writers to optimize blog posts, category pages, and product descriptions for SEO.

  • Develop a high-authority link-building strategy, securing quality backlinks through partnerships, PR, and content syndication.

  • Implement SEO-driven content frameworks, including topic clusters, pillar pages, and FAQ-rich snippets.

Cross-Team Collaboration & SEO Education

  • Work alongside PPC, email marketing, and brand teams to ensure holistic digital marketing synergy.

  • Train and educate teams on SEO best practices, ensuring SEO is deeply integrated across marketing and development.

  • Stay ahead of algorithm updates, industry trends, and AI-driven SEO advancements, adapting strategies accordingly.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of SEO experience, preferably with e-commerce, luxury brands, or franchise-based models in the US market.

  • Deep expertise in technical SEO, on-page optimization, content strategy, and link-building at scale.

  • Proven track record of SEO success, including ranking improvements, organic traffic growth, and revenue impact.

  • Strong proficiency with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.).

  • Experience with site migrations, domain authority growth, and multi-location SEO strategies.

  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (not required but a strong plus).

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performance team with a strong focus on growth.
