About the Role
Value Advisory at Rocketlane is a high-impact function within Sales that owns the journey of value articulation. The team works closely with Sales and Solution Consultants to deliver compelling business cases that help prospects clearly see the ROI of partnering with Rocketlane. This is a high-visibility role with direct influence on win rates, ARR, and strategic growth.
As a Value Engineer, you will bridge the gap between business challenges and Rocketlane’s solutions by leveraging data, industry benchmarks, and AI-driven insights to demonstrate value in every customer conversation. You will have the opportunity to directly influence executive-level decisions and help drive Rocketlane’s revenue growth and win-rate.
What will you do?
Discover prospect pain areas, use cases, and data points to feed into value analysis
Build tailored business cases with detailed ROI and value modeling
Stay current on industry benchmarks, competitive landscapes, and AI-driven market analysis to strengthen value narratives
Partner with sellers and solution consultants to refine business cases and incorporate feedback
Deliver and present business cases to prospects, confidently owning numbers and addressing objections in executive-level discussions
Develop value models, ROI calculators, and industry benchmark libraries for scalable use across verticals
Collaborate with product marketing, customer success, and strategy teams to align value frameworks with Rocketlane’s positioning
Guide sellers and solution consultants on value-based selling approaches to elevate the overall sales motion
Create templates and playbooks in the business case tool and continuously improve the value toolkit
You should Apply
Top-tier B-school background preferred
Prior experience in customer-facing roles for US or EMEA customers in a SaaS or product company
Exposure to value engineering, management consulting, or solution consulting is a strong plus
Experience engaging with CFOs, CIOs, or procurement leaders in high-value SaaS deals
Excellent communication, storytelling, and executive presence
Strong proficiency with spreadsheets, presentations, and business case modeling
Ability to leverage AI tools for competitive intelligence, benchmarks, and value analysis
Analytical and structured thinker who can connect operational metrics to compelling business outcomes
