As we scale, we’re seeking a dynamic and strategic Mid-Market Sales Leader to lead our growing sales team and accelerate revenue growth.
Role Overview
The Mid-Market Sales Leader will drive results by leading, coaching, and developing a team of Account Executives focused on mid-market accounts. This individual will set the strategic direction, foster a culture of excellence, and ensure the team executes with precision across the sales cycle. What You’ll Do
Team Leadership & Development:
Recruit, mentor, and retain top sales talent to build a high-performing team.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to ensure individual and team success.
Sales Execution:
Drive team adherence to Rocketlane's sales methodologies, including MEDDPICC or similar frameworks, ensuring consistent pipeline management and forecasting accuracy.
Lead by example in running complex sales cycles, building business cases, and crafting customer-centric value propositions.
Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Customer Success) to create seamless customer experiences.
Strategy & Performance Management:
Develop and execute a sales strategy for the mid-market segment, aligning with Rocketlane's revenue goals.
Leverage data and analytics to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and make informed decisions.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to improve team performance.
Customer Focus:
Ensure the team is skilled at navigating complex organizations and engaging multiple stakeholders to drive consensus.
Advocate for customers internally, providing feedback to influence Rocketlane's product roadmap and go-to-market strategies.
What You Bring:
Proven experience leading and scaling mid-market sales teams in a high-growth SaaS environment.
Expertise in sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger Sale, or similar frameworks.
A track record of exceeding team quotas and driving high-growth revenue outcomes.
Strong ability to leverage data to drive decision-making, action plans, and results.
Exceptional coaching, mentoring, and leadership skills, with a passion for developing top talent.
Experience managing complex sales cycles and building compelling business cases for enterprise-level customers.
Highly energetic and passionate about sales, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a customer-first mindset.
Experience executing mid six-figure deals
Creative mindset to drive opportunity
Proactive in cross-functional collaboration
What We’re Looking For
7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, with at least 3+ years in leadership roles
Strong knowledge of the EMEA SaaS landscape—ideally having scaled a GTM motion across multiple sub-regions (UKI, DACH, Nordics, Middle East, etc.)
Proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals and hitting or exceeding targets
Experience building and scaling sales teams in high-growth environments
Strategic thinker with a bias for action and execution
Excellent communicator who thrives in a remote-first, global team
Experience selling to post-sale teams (onboarding, implementation, CS, PS) is a bonus
