Profile Overview:

We’re hiring for a Sales Ops (Sales Analytics) role to drive visibility, performance insights, and sales strategy at Rocketlane.

You’ll be the go-to person for all things sales data—tracking pipeline health, identifying gaps, running programs, and powering board-ready reporting.

This role is perfect for someone who loves working with numbers, telling stories through data, and proactively solving problems before they surface. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales leaders, RevOps, and Growth to make sure the revenue engine is running on data, not gut feel.

What You’ll Do

  • Build dashboards and reporting for pipeline, forecast accuracy, conversion metrics, activity tracking, and more

  • Analyze trends in deal velocity, win rates, funnel leakage, and rep productivity

  • Run QBRs and sales performance reviews—own the data behind the story

  • Deep dive into sales metrics to identify growth levers and areas of friction

  • Track effectiveness of outbound campaigns, intent programs, and GTM experiments

  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to define KPIs and track campaign ROI

  • Support territory and quota planning with historical data and scenario models

  • Package insights and recommendations into decks for Sales leadership and exec reviews

  • Build structured cadences for reviewing data and driving action

  • Be the voice of data in Sales leadership discussions

  • Partner with RevOps to maintain CRM hygiene, improve hand-offs, and ensure alignment across systems

What We’re Looking For

  • 2 to 6 years of experience in Sales Ops, Analytics, or GTM Ops

  • Proficient in BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Google Data Studio), spreadsheets, and CRM reporting

  • Sharp analytical thinking—you’re equally strong with SQL as with storytelling through data

  • Strong attention to detail—you catch the weird decimal before anyone else does

  • Comfortable working directly with Sales and leadership to surface insights and influence decisions

  • High ownership and bias for action—you don’t just report numbers, you drive outcomes

  • Bonus: Experience supporting sales planning, forecasting, or modeling
