Role Description:

As an Product Manager at Sarvam.ai, you will play a critical role in redefining the AI agents landscape for India. You’ll work at the intersection of design, analytics, user research, business, and engineering to develop transformative AI-driven products that cater to the unique needs of the Indian market. This role requires a strong grasp of data and an ability to influence stakeholders, ensuring impactful problems are identified and solved effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and Drive AI Product Vision: Lead initiatives to redefine AI agents for the Indian market, working closely with cross-functional teams to shape and evolve product strategies aligned with market demands.

• Problem Identification and Solution Development: Collaborate with business stakeholders to pinpoint key problem areas. Use on-ground insights and data analysis to influence solution directions, ensuring our AI offerings meet real user needs.

• Sprint Management and Delivery: Partner with engineering, design, and analytics teams to define and execute sprints. Take full ownership of sprint goals, track progress, and present deliverables in demo sessions and organization-wide forums.

• Customer-Centric Advocacy: Be deeply invested in understanding customer aspirations and pain points. Work closely with partner teams and field representatives to uncover emerging needs and prioritize them in product development.

• Product Lifecycle Ownership: Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and feature definition to user research and writing detailed specifications. Track and measure performance metrics, iterating as needed for continuous improvement.

Good to Have:

• Experience in Generative AI Products: Prior experience building or managing generative AI products, staying up to date with the latest developments in GenAI. We are looking for tinkerers—people who enjoy experimenting, building tools, and innovating within the AI landscape.

• Technical Proficiency: Ability to write code or build prototypes, with experience in analytics, design, or rapid prototyping being a strong plus.

• Market Insights: In-depth understanding of the Indian market and unique challenges in deploying AI for diverse user bases.

• Effective Communication and Presentation Skills: Ability to confidently present product progress, insights, and strategic updates to leadership and broader teams.
