The Sarvam AI Reasoning team is building sophisticated reasoning capabilities for India's first sovereign AI platform. We are seeking a talented Security Engineer to join our organization. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive security frameworks that protect our AI platform, data, and infrastructure. You'll work closely with our platform and development teams to ensure security is embedded throughout our systems while maintaining our commitment to data sovereignty. Your expertise will be critical in building zero trust architectures and implementing advanced security controls that safeguard our sophisticated AI reasoning capabilities and sensitive enterprise data.

We seek candidates with strong expertise in zero trust architecture, service identity, and supply chain security who can demonstrate technical excellence in designing and implementing secure systems at scale.
Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field from a top-tier institution
3-5 years of experience in Security Engineering or Architecture roles
Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing zero trust security frameworks
Strong experience with certificate management, mTLS, and service identity systems
Proficiency in secrets management solutions and credential rotation systems
Knowledge of supply chain security and SBOM validation techniques
Experience implementing runtime security controls and security scanning pipelines
Understanding of multi-tenant architecture security and data isolation strategies
Experience with context-aware access control systems and continuous verification
Strong programming skills with focus on secure development practices
Security certifications (CISSP, CSSLP, etc.) are a plus
Architect and enforce zero trust security frameworks across all systems
Implement certificate-based mutual TLS and service identity verification systems
Own secrets management infrastructure, vault solutions, and credential rotation systems
Establish supply chain security with software bill of materials (SBOM) validation
Implement runtime application self-protection (RASP) and security scanning capabilities
Design and maintain secure multi-tenant data isolation strategies
Implement context-aware access policies and continuous verification mechanisms
Collaborate with platform and development teams to integrate security controls
Develop security architecture documentation and implementation guidelines
Lead security design reviews for new systems and applications
Stay current with emerging security threats and mitigation strategies
Mentor team members on security best practices and secure architecture principles
