About Job

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will be accountable for the accuracy and integrity of data insights provided to decision-makers, working with different business stakeholders to track KPIs, understand user behaviour, extract data insights, and helping them understand how data insights can translate into tangible business impact.

Skills & Qualification

  • Advanced SQL proficiency.

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Business Intelligence/Data Analyst.

  • Self-starter & proactive in getting up to speed.

  • Strong sense of initiative.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Outstanding quantitative and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong communication (presentation, written, and listening) skills.

  • Excellent collaboration skills.

  • Strong sense of ownership.

  • Experience with Python.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and provide data-related solutions and analysis.

  • Drive conversations with stakeholders on using data to help with decision making.

  • Collaborate with different teams to identify appropriate success metrics for projects and set up systems to obtain actionable insights (including product launches and marketing campaigns).

  • Set up and automate reporting as required for country, product, feature launches and marketing initiatives.

  • Partner business teams to drive new initiatives by conducting analysis on trends and customer behaviour.

  • Develop solutions that work to help teams to analyse performance of their work e.g. marketing attribution models.

  • Build data marts to organise data into logical and easy to use tables for BI and other teams to easily extract insights or build on (foundational to the company's data product / self-service analytics).

Projects You Might Work On

  • Partner with the team to develop practical analytics solutions that support both daily operations and strategic planning.

  • Create clean, intuitive dashboards with drill-down functionality that enables users to independently explore data insights.

  • Consistently monitor key metrics, effectiveness of different initiatives, and industry trends to provide timely, actionable insights.

  • Conduct detailed analyses on marketing campaigns or usage of the app to understand user behaviour, success of the initiative, and provide insights on potential improvements.

  • Establish standardized reporting frameworks and governance practices to ensure consistent data interpretation across teams.

  • Develop and maintain data marts using DBT to serve as foundations for self-service analytics and KPI tracking.

  • Develop internal tools to automate basic BI requests.
