Banking Operations Intern

About Job

As an Intern in the Operations team, you will support and execute the daily banking operations procedures, which may include fund transfers and transactional due diligence and customer due diligence.

The role may also be required to support the team by creating and updating process documentation, streamlining processes and creating reports. 

This role is ideal for individuals eager to learn about banking operations and develop skills in process optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Transaction Processing: Assist and perform daily transaction related activities to facilitate the investments of deposits and payment of withdrawals under supervision. This may include fund transfers and transaction and customer due diligence

  • Process Documentation: Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining clear and concise operational manuals, process guides, and SOPs.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to simplify existing workflows and support the team in implementing efficiency improvements.

  • Regulatory Reporting: Assist with the preparation of periodic regulatory and compliance reports as required.

  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Provide general support to the team on various tasks, including gathering data for reports

Requirements

  • Currently between studies or a recent graduate, available for 5 to 6 months.

  • Proficiency in English is essential for effective interaction with stakeholders.

  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent communication and documentation skills.

  • Interest in banking or financial operations (experience is a plus but not required).

  • Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.

  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel and SQL is a plus.
