About Us: Telgorithm was founded on the principles of transparency, customer experience,
responsibility, education, and empathy. When faced with challenges, we seek out creative solutions and workarounds. As a startup, our work and team are fast-paced; we’re extremely collaborative yet unafraid to make decisions and change course later if needed. If you thrive as a both a team player and an individual contributor, are interested in solving problems, and motivated to make the world of telecom more fun – Telgorithm might be the company for you.
The Role: Telgorithm is hiring our first dedicated Technical Product Manager to own day-to-day product execution across small and medium product decisions.
Today, many product details and decisions are handled directly by our CTO. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of those details: clarifying ambiguous requirements, defining expected product behavior, making thoughtful UX and technical product decisions, writing or reviewing clear specs, and working closely with engineering, QA, Support, Customer Success, and GTM teams to move work forward.
This is not a project manager or task coordinator role. We need someone who can think through product behavior, make well-reasoned decisions, communicate clearly, and reduce ambiguity for the team.
Compensation Range: $4,000–$8,000 USD Monthly depending on location and experience
Location and Language: This is a remote position for which we are accepting applicants in Europe and nearby time zones with preference for candidates between GMT-5 and GMT+2 during winter time.
All candidates must be able to provide proof of identity and work authorization to work as a contractor in their country of residence.
Fluency with Russian is required because we have a Russian-speaking development team.
B2+ Proficiency in English is required because this role will work closely with US-based teams.
What you’ll do
Own day-to-day product execution for small and medium product decisions, working closely with the CTO as the primary owner of broader product direction.
Clarify ambiguous requirements from the CTO, leadership, engineering, QA, Support, Customer Success, and GTM, and translate them into clear specifications, tickets, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
Define expected product behavior across UI, API behavior, notifications, permissions, validations, error states, edge cases, and release sequencing, making thoughtful product and UX decisions and communicating trade-offs clearly.
Work closely with engineering throughout implementation to answer product questions, remove ambiguity, and unblock execution.
Partner with QA to ensure features are checked against the intended product behavior and acceptance criteria.
Participate in bug triage when product judgment is needed, including priority, customer impact, expected behavior, and whether something is a bug, improvement, or feature request.
Prioritize small incoming requests, bugs, UX issues, and technical improvements within already-defined product directions.
Own release notes and customer-facing documentation related to product behavior, releases, and new functionality.
What you’ll bring
5+ years of experience in the software industry.
2+ years of experience in a Technical Product Manager, Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role.
Comfort working with technical SaaS products, including APIs, webhooks, JSON payloads, logs, error codes, permissions, and integrations.
Ability to independently analyze requirements, make day-to-day product decisions, and balance technical and user experience considerations.
Strong written communication skills with the ability to create clear, organized, developer-friendly documentation and specifications
2+ years managing a team
Professional proficiency in both English (B2+) and Russian (C1+).
Ability to operate independently and manage multiple concurrent initiatives effectively.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
Bonus if you also have:
Experience working with telecom, messaging, carrier integrations, or API-first products.
Technical background in software engineering, QA, or systems analysis.
Experience working with distributed or multilingual teams.
Experience working closely with engineering teams in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment.
