About the Role

We’re seeking a dynamic and driven Backend Engineer to join our fast-growing team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact by building and maintaining highly scalable and robust product solutions for our SaaS QR Code platform, powering over 120 million scans across the globe for businesses of all sizes. You’ll work alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry, tackling challenging projects and contributing to a product that is rapidly transforming the way businesses operate globally.

What we are looking for in our Backend Engineer (SDE2):

Key Focus Areas:

Backend Development

• Design, develop, and test scalable backend services using Python and associated frameworks.

• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to build robust and user-friendly features that meet business and user needs.

Code Quality and Maintenance

• Write high-quality, maintainable code based on detailed designs that align with product requirements.

• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases, ensuring strong optimization and seamless functionality.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing

• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to support team knowledge sharing and streamline onboarding for new team members.

What we expect from you:

• Brings a minimum of 2+ years of experience in software development, with at least 1 year focused on Python-based frameworks.

• Has hands-on experience with Python 3.7, Django 2.2+, and REST APIs.

• Possesses a minimum of 1 year of experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP. Experience working with both NoSQL and SQL databases.

• Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as a hands-on self-starter.

• Willingness to learn and ability to flourish in a dynamic, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.
