At Multiplier, we are seeking a talented Procurement Analyst to join our team and help formalize a scalable procurement function from the ground up. This role will play a critical part in shaping our procurement strategy, driving cost optimization, and fostering strategic partnerships with vendors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes, a keen eye for detail, and excellent analytical skills. They will be responsible for strategizing and renegotiating global vendor contracts, driving cost optimization, and vendor benchmarking. The Procurement Analyst will also partner with functional leaders to ensure value-based procurement decisions.

Skills & Qualification

  • Strategic thinking and negotiation skills to renegotiate global vendor contracts (SaaS tools, IT hardware, licenses, compliance services, etc.) and drive cost optimization.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to influence decisions across short- vs. long-term contracts through strategic evaluation.

  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, including pre-PO approvals, to enhance compliance and accountability.

  • Ability to partner with functional leaders (Marketing, IT, Finance, and Compliance) to ensure value-based procurement decisions.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) to drive business insights and optimize procurement processes.

  • Understanding of regulatory compliance, particularly in the areas of IT and SaaS procurements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a scalable procurement function from the ground up, including strategic planning, process development, and vendor management.

  • Strategize and renegotiate global vendor contracts to drive cost optimization and ensure value-based procurement decisions.

  • Partner with functional leaders (Marketing, IT, Finance, and Compliance) to ensure alignment and effective procurement strategies.

  • Implement procurement processes, such as pre-PO approvals, to enhance compliance and accountability.

  • Conduct vendor benchmarking and market research to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring optimal pricing and terms.

  • Drive business insights and optimize procurement processes through data analysis and reporting.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory compliance, particularly in the areas of IT and SaaS procurements.

  • Influence decisions across short- vs. long-term contracts through strategic evaluation and data-driven recommendations.
