About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Director, APAC Partnerships to build and scale our partner ecosystem across key markets in Asia-Pacific, with a focus on Australia, Singapore, and Hong Kong. This leader will own the partnership go-to-market (GTM) strategy, drive revenue through reseller and co-sell/referral models, and expand our footprint with HR Tech platforms, professional services firms, government agencies, trade bodies, and investment groups.

This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and hands-on execution to establish high-value partnerships that accelerate customer acquisition, strengthen brand credibility, and drive sustainable revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities

1. Partnership Strategy & Execution

  • Define and execute the APAC partnerships GTM strategy, aligned with regional business priorities.

  • Identify, prioritize, and onboard resellers, co-sell/referral partners, and ecosystem players across Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and broader APAC.

  • Develop tiered incentive models (e.g., recurring revenue share for resellers, referral fees for co-sell) to drive adoption and long-term partner engagement.

2. Partner Relationship Management

  • Establish and nurture executive-level relationships with HR Tech platforms, professional/business services firms, government agencies, and investment groups.

  • Build joint business plans with key partners, ensuring measurable impact on revenue, customer growth, and market expansion.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and point of escalation for key partners, ensuring strong alignment and high satisfaction.

3. Revenue Growth & GTM Enablement

  • Drive joint sales opportunities by assigning pods of sales executives to partner reps to ensure deep account penetration.

  • Collaborate with regional sales and marketing teams to design and execute joint campaigns, webinars, and GTM initiatives.

  • Track and report pipeline contribution, partner revenue share, and ROI of partnership programs.

4. Ecosystem Development

  • Forge API/native integration partnerships with HR Tech platforms, positioning Payroll/EOR as an extension of their solutions.

  • Build a strong network across professional services (recruitment firms, corporate services, consulting, legal), embedding Payroll/EOR as a post-hiring enabler.

  • Partner with government agencies and trade bodies to support SME expansion into new markets, leveraging credibility and access.

  • Unlock access to multiple portfolio companies through investment group partnerships, offering preferential rates for scalability.

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or channel sales in APAC.

  • Proven success in building GTM partnerships and ecosystems with HR Tech, SaaS, professional services, or financial services firms.

  • Strong network across APAC, with the ability to engage at the C-level and influence decision-making.

  • Experience with reseller, co-sell, and referral models, including structuring incentive frameworks and revenue-share agreements.

  • Commercial mindset with the ability to balance revenue growth with strategic relationship-building.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Flexibility to travel across APAC markets as required.
