Compensation: $250K–$500K total annual compensation

We’ve built a repeatable system for turning founder-led content into meetings, pipeline, and brand power.
We are building GTM infrastructure that behaves like a high-output operator, combining strategy, execution, and systems thinking. Having added $1M in ARR within the last 30 days, our recruiting team is moving quickly to hire the talent we need to continue our momentum.
We are now looking for a Founding Engineer to help design, build, and scale Virio’s core AI platform alongside the CTO.
Own and build mission-critical parts of the platform end to end
Design and implement AI-native product experiences across text, video, and voice
Build new features and ensure reliability under real-world user behavior
Work closely with the CTO to make architectural and technical decisions
Design and implement solutions independently, from idea through production
Choose how close you want to be to users and incorporate feedback into product decisions
Continuously improve system performance, scalability, and quality
Systems engineering depth – Strong systems thinker with deep backend engineering experience
Scalable service architecture – Comfortable designing and owning scalable, performant services
Technical curiosity & learning velocity – High curiosity with the ability to quickly learn new technical domains
Zero-to-one system building – Experience building tools or systems that did not previously exist
Large-surface technical ownership – Comfortable owning broad technical areas without heavy process or oversight
Collaborative judgment & communication – Strong communication skills and sound judgment in collaborative environments
High agency & self-direction – Acts without waiting for requirements or detailed instructions
Small-team intensity comfort – Comfortable working intensely and closely with a small, high-output team

This is a full-time, on-site role based in San Francisco. We do not offer hybrid or remote positions. With best-in-class compensation, Virio operates on a 996–7 cadence and expects high ownership and high output across the team.
