Virio is building the next-generation B2B GTM stack.

Backed by investors and operators from LinkedIn, YouTube, HubSpot, Rippling, and Google, we help the fastest-growing B2B companies go to market through executive-led content that drives revenue.

We’re growing extremely quickly, added $1M ARR in 30 days, and are onboarding customers faster than we can manage—so we’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep infrastructure experience to help architect and scale Virio's core platform alongside the CTO.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and evolve core infrastructure powering Virio's AI platform end to end

  • Design and build reliable, scalable data pipelines and ETL systems to support AI workflows at scale

  • Architect backend services that handle high-throughput, real-time workloads across text, video, and voice

  • Lead technical decisions on system design, data architecture, and platform reliability

  • Improve observability, performance, and operational excellence across the stack

  • Mentor engineers and establish engineering best practices as the team scales

  • Work closely with the CTO to shape technical strategy and long-term platform direction

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Infrastructure depth – 4+ years building and operating large-scale distributed systems at a high-growth startup

  • Data pipeline expertise – Hands-on experience designing and maintaining ETL pipelines, data infrastructure, and batch/streaming systems

  • Systems engineering rigor – Deep understanding of systems design, performance optimization, and reliability engineering

  • Scalable service architecture – Proven track record designing services that handle scale, with strong opinions on tradeoffs

  • Technical leadership – Ability to drive architectural decisions, unblock teams, and raise the bar on engineering quality

High learning velocity – Comfort ramping quickly in new domains

Traits That Thrive at Virio

  • High agency & self-direction – Acts without waiting for requirements or detailed instructions

  • Small-team intensity comfort – Comfortable working intensely and closely with a small, high-output team

  • Unorthodox problem solving – Sees non-obvious paths forward and challenges conventional approaches

  • Quality-driven execution – Detail-oriented with high standards for correctness and quality

  • Low ego & accountability – Takes full ownership and accountability for outcomes

Benefits

  • Competitive total compensation aligned to impact and ownership

  • Meaningful equity upside as part of the founding team, core to the operating philosophy for Virio

  • 100 percent paid medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • 401(k) plan

  • Monthly wellness and meals stipend ($1k)

  • Relocation support for San Francisco

  • Company-wide annual off-sites

  • Direct access to founders and leadership

  • High ownership, high trust, and fast career progression alongside world-class client partners

  • In-person culture with deep collaboration and shared standards
