Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior WordPress Website Manager to own our SaaS marketing and product websites end to end. You will be responsible for performance, reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement of the WordPress platform that supports growth, demand generation, and product storytelling.
This is a senior role. You will make architectural decisions, define best practices, and act as the go-to owner for anything WordPress.
Role & Responsibilities:
Platform Ownership
Own the WordPress platform end to end, including architecture, stability, and scalability
Define standards for themes, plugins, content structure, and releases
Maintain clean environments across production, staging, and development
Performance, Scale & Reliability
Ensure high performance, uptime, and fast page loads across regions
Design and maintain caching, CDN, and asset optimization strategies
Monitor performance metrics, errors, and traffic spikes
Proactively identify and resolve scalability risks
SaaS Growth & Marketing Enablement
Partner with growth, marketing, and product teams to ship landing pages and campaigns quickly
Build reusable page templates, components, and content systems
Enable non-technical teams to move fast without compromising quality
Technical SEO & Analytics
Own technical SEO including site structure, indexing, schema, and Core Web Vitals
Implement and maintain analytics, conversion tracking, and tag management
Support experimentation, A/B testing, and performance measurement
Security & Governance
Own security posture including updates, vulnerability management, and access control
Manage backups, disaster recovery, and incident response processes
Ensure compliance with privacy and data protection standards
Integrations & Tooling
Integrate WordPress with SaaS tools such as CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and CDNs
Manage forms, lead capture, and data flow into downstream systems
Collaborate with engineering on APIs, webhooks, or headless use cases when required
Collaboration & Leadership
Act as the WordPress subject matter expert for the company
Review implementations, guide best practices, and prevent technical debt
Work closely with engineering, design, SEO, and growth teams
Coordinate with external vendors or agencies when needed
Qualifications and Skills:
6+ years managing WordPress websites at scale
Strong understanding of WordPress internals, performance, and security
Experience supporting high-traffic SaaS marketing sites
Hands-on experience with caching, CDNs, and hosting platforms
Comfortable working with HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript
Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset
Nice to Have
Experience with headless WordPress or decoupled architectures
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment workflows
Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and growth analytics
Experience working in B2B SaaS environments
