We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our team as an Assistant Manager/ Manager - Accounts. The successful candidate will have hands-on knowledge and expertise in IFRS/ Ind AS and ICFR testing/internal audits. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of accountants, ensuring timely completion of financial reporting and compliance tasks. Skills & Qualification

  • Chartered Accountant with 3 to 5 years post-qualification experience

  • Deep understanding of IFRS/ Ind AS and ICFR testing/internal audits

  • Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with experience of leading and managing a team of accountants

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Proficient in MS Office, with a strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance requirements, with experience of preparing and reviewing financial statements

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring timely completion of financial reporting and compliance tasks

  • Develop and implement financial reporting and compliance procedures, ensuring alignment with IFRS/ Ind AS and ICFR testing/internal audits

  • Conduct ICFR testing and internal audits, identifying and resolving complex financial issues

  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration

  • Identify and implement process improvements, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in financial reporting and compliance

  • Stay up-to-date with financial reporting and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to regulatory changes

  • Provide guidance and support to junior accountants, ensuring their professional development and growth

  • Automate the manual process and bring improvements to the existing process
