About the Role

We’re looking for a Product Manager (PM-1) to strengthen and scale our Payouts business.

This role has two core mandates:

Ensure product sanity — improve reliability, usability, and operational robustness
Research and shape new adjacent product opportunities around Payouts

You will work closely with the Director of Product to deeply understand the current system, identify structural gaps, and build a strong foundation for future growth.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex platform problems and thinking beyond incremental features.

What You’ll Own

Product Sanity & Stability

Deep-dive into transaction flows, failure patterns, reconciliation gaps
Identify systemic issues across DB logs, merchant complaints, and support tickets
Partner with engineering to improve reliability, performance, and operational clarity
Reduce friction across APIs, dashboards, and merchant workflows

Merchant & Market Understanding

Speak to merchants regularly (ops, finance, founders)
Analyze churned accounts and usage patterns
Identify structural gaps in our current offering

New Product Research

Explore adjacent use cases around payouts (compliance, identity, treasury, automation, etc.)
Build structured problem statements and opportunity briefs
Run discovery interviews and early validation experiments
Shape initial product direction before formal roadmap inclusion

Data-Driven Decision Making

Own dashboards and key product metrics
Break down performance by segment, industry, and use case
Translate data into prioritised action

What We’re Looking For

2–4 years of product management experience
Strong analytical ability and comfort working on platform/API-first products
Ability to operate in ambiguity and structure open-ended problems
High ownership mindset
Strong written and verbal clarity

What Will Make You Stand Out

Experience in fintech, payments, banking infrastructure, or APIs
