About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Junior Insurance Data Analyst to join our dynamic  team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our insurance product and underwriting partner portfolio. 

This role involves supporting product development and carrier relationships while deep diving into market data, competitor offerings, regulatory requirements, and internal performance metrics to ensure our products are competitive, profitable, and compliant.

You will play a crucial role in the product lifecycle, from initial concept and design through launch and ongoing optimisation. We’re hiring a graduate to support our Insurance team with day-to-day operations and basic analysis. You’ll help keep product data tidy, prepare simple bordereaux and reconciliations, organise audits and governance meetings, and assist with reports. You’ll be guided by a manager and senior teammates, with clear checklists, templates, and on-the-job training.

To help us level up, you'll ideally have:

  • ​Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance,, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

  • 0-2 years of professional experience (internships or co-op programs count) in the financial services or insurance industry. Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.

  • ​Foundational understanding of basic data analysis and financial principles

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is mandatory (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas). Exposure to SQL or statistical software (R, Python, SAS) is a plus, but not required

  • Eagerness to interpret basic data sets and identify trends; demonstrating strong problem-solving potential

  • Meticulous and highly organised, with a commitment to producing accurate work
