We’re hiring for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team.

SDRs play a pivotal role in generating new business opportunities by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers. This is a Chicago based remote role with occasional visits to our Chicago office (once per quarter or as needed). Candidates must be located in Chicagoland area.

What we need:

  • Prospect for new business relationships within an assigned territory using excellent communication skills, company marketing materials, and strong follow-ups

  • Develop a solid knowledge across Datassential’s product suite including value proposition and customer success stories

  • Forecast and deliver a set number of qualified leads each month

  • Effectively utilize Datassential's CRM system (Salesforce.com)

  • Meet with sales team weekly to discuss key targets and collateral

  • The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a sales development role, having managed email & cold-calling volume with targets of approximately 60+calls/ 50+ emails per day.

  • Develop expertise in working with CRM, pipelines, contracts, and formal presentations. 

  • Some travel to industry conferences and company events as needed

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales or marketing or equivalent experience 

  • Business level of English, both written and verbal

  • 1-3 years of experience as a sales development representative, preferably in a SaaS environment.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) and prospecting tools such as Groove, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus

Base salary range for this role is between $55,000 and $60,000, plus commission, with on-target earnings (OTE) ranging from $70,000 to $80,000+. Actual compensation within the stated range will be determined based on factors such as skills, relevant experience, and work location.
